Concert Reviews

Thursday 28th September 7.30pm

Broadcaster, concert pianist and professor, David Owen Norris will return with a small group of instrumentalists from Southampton University’s music department to play orchestral works by Mozart, including his glorious “Jupiter” Symphony, as arranged by various early nineteenth century composers such as Czerny and Cramer for small ensembles.

Unfortunately there is disappointing news from David Owen Norris, who is sad to have to cancel this concert

Friday 29th September 7.45pm

“Fabulous Duets”

Performed by Russian soprano, Maria Danishvar Brown
and Dorset-based mezzo, Arabella Heaton.

This fantastic concert of operatic arias will include all-time favourites and famous duets from Bellini’s “Norma” and Puccini’s “Madame Butterfly”!

Saturday 14th October 7.30pm
